libgetopt-mixed-perl software package provides Perl module for processing options in GNU-style (= long and short), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgetopt-mixed-perl
libgetopt-mixed-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgetopt-mixed-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgetopt-mixed-perl *
You will get with libgetopt-mixed-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
